Before reading this article I only knew about earth and the moon.I also knew that there was seven planets in this universe. After reading this I learned that Saturn had a huge ring thats nearly invisible that scientist are just now recently discovering. They said that it can fit 1 billin Earth's."If you were to stand in the ring, you wouldn't even know it," Verbiscer said in a statement, I think thats crazy for someone to stand on the ring and not even no it. That would probably feel like your justy floating in the air.

Body Piercing and Tattoing: Risk to Health

I allready knew that some tattos take hours to get done, some piercing hurt and take weeks to heal or to get used to. I knew that once you get a tatto you cant give blood for a year allready. Also i allready knew that tatto and body piercing is a art work, that shows expressioin and can be somthing symbolic. After reading this I found out something shocking, that in history people used to pierce their bodies, I never knew that piercing went back this far. To show manhood Roman soldier used to pierce thier nipples. The risk of getting a tatto from an un-sterolized needle is a STD, hepetatis A and or B. For piercing you can get swelling, redness, and puse. If any of these things happen you ghould get help.

The Real World:Bilingual Children

Before reading the article The Real World:Bilingual Children Iknew that it was going to be about young kids learning two languages. This article is about biligual education and how the research on that is messy. After reading this i found out that teaching a small child two languages at a very young age the child would leanr both languages if spoken to him/her from two diffrent peopl without mixing the languages together, like spanglish. I personally believe that being able to speak multiple languages ig a great thing in this country of diversity. I speak both English and Spanish which has helped me alot with communicating and making some people confortablt like the spanish owner in the deli or something. =)

Calling all spies: Has cell phone spy tech got your number?

Before I read this article I had read something related to the tilttle on http://www.sprword.com/ about cell phones being spied on.Like the goverment listening to "our" conversations, reading "our" text messages and etc. The title alone caught my attention becasue I own a cell phone and wouldnt want anybody spying on me, and because that's illegal and its invasion of privacy. After reading this article, I learned thath its only smart phones that can get hacked and spied on beacause of the fact that they can run programs and software. Your smart phone can easily be hacked by someone sending you a text message, and once you open it they are able to turn your phone off, on, use your service and even use the internet on your phone without you noticing. A lot of your cell hpone providers are making new security software's for smart phone so things like this don't happen. Reading this article thought me that a regualr phone wont be able to get hacked, so if you want the smart phones then you would have to worry if someone is hacking into your phone.

College advise

I thought that the college advise passage I read was real helpfull and some advise i would be able to pass down to friends and future kids or up comming college freshman. They missed a few things like

• Go to class on time,pay attention do your work and you'll obviesly get a good grade
• Make sure you eat before class or else it would be hard to pay attention with your stomach growling every 3 mins
• Exchange numbers with someone in your class, you never know when your going to miss a day of class or when you need help
• Apply for work study, that way you have something to do on your free time
• Buy a netbook or labtop and download your "textbooks" online, its free and can save you a bundel in the fuuture.

Texting? never knew it was so dangerous

I know that texting is the new age of communication. People all over the world text and nearly everyone knows how to text. Texing has become the new inovnovated way to leave a messege on someone else phone that can be replied to in just secounds. I text on the regular, so when i first read the article titile it caught my eye because it relates to me. Telling me not to text while walking, wich I do nearly everyday.
What I wanted to know is how is texting dangerous? can texting kill you are cause artritus?. Well come to find out people who text and do something else at the same time have reported injuries. It goes from walking into lamp post and walls to tripping over curbs. Unfortantly there has been two death caused from texting in California. The first was from a woman who walked right into a passing pickup truck while texting. The same happen to a male, only diffrence is that it wasnt a pickup truck. Even some doctors have texted while driving. The advise doctors gave was" When you're texting loook around". Guess walking and texting is dangerous, but im still going to do it so far havent bumped into anything and im smart enough to stop at the corner before going across the street.

My major is electrical engineering, I like to play sports(Basketball, football, soccer), read urban books, buying clothes and having fun. I enjoy laughing and hanging out with my friends.
